A USB-C cable and Chrome or Edge on a computer: your MiniMe becomes Oravio. You install nothing, the page does it all, and first it sets aside a copy of what was there.
computerYou need a computer
This page talks to the robot over USB, and only Chrome or Edge on a computer can do that (Windows, Mac, Linux or Chromebook): it does not work from a phone. Open this same address from there.

You are signed in as the owner: choose who the robot is for. Besides the firmware I write the Wi-Fi the customer gave us and register the robot in their name: they will only need the power socket.
1Connect the robot
Connect the MiniMe to the computer with a USB-C data cable and leave it switched on. Then click "Connect" and pick the robot's port in the window that appears.

2Factory backup (recommended)
Before writing anything, I save to the computer a full copy of what is in the robot today (16 MB, about three minutes). It lets you go back whenever you want, and covers warranty and returns.

3Oravio firmware
I pick the version, download it from Oravio, check its fingerprint and write it to the robot. About three minutes: do not unplug the cable and do not close this page.
4Done
Unplug the cable: the robot shows the ORAVIO logo and opens a Wi-Fi network called Oravio-MiniMe-XXXX. Join that network from your phone, open 192.168.4.1 and choose your home Wi-Fi. Then open Oravio: the robot shows and says a code, and you enter it in the "Your MiniMe" panel.
